Pharmacy Tech here. Xylitol is a sweetener in liquid meds that is dangerous for dogs. It’s also used as a low-calorie sweetener in processed foods, so pet owners have to watch out for it on ingredient lists.
Anything containing caffeine, alcohol and xylitol as well as chocolate, avocados, mustard seeds, garlic and onions, almonds and most nuts, apricot, apple, cherry and peach pits/pips/seeds as well as grapes and raisins.
Grapes/raisins and xylitol - both way more toxic to dogs than chocolate and not common knowledge!

Dogs cannot eat the following foods:
Anything containing caffeine, alcohol and xylitol as well as chocolate, avocados, mustard seeds, garlic and onions, almonds and most nuts, apricot, apple, cherry and peach pits/pips/seeds as well as grapes and raisins.
Dogs cannot eat: grapes, almonds and nuts, onions, and garlic.
Xylitol now being called “birch sugar” in lists of ingredients - watch out for that one
